Ryan’s Wake is the perfect place to bring people together. Our riverfront location in downtown Troy offers the warmth of a neighborhood pub with the polish of a full-service event venue. Event Details & Guidelines

Events are booked in four-hour blocks (extra time available by request).
You may arrive one hour early to decorate or set up.
Minimum 25 guests per room with a $250 rental/cleaning fee.
Minimum 50 guests for both rooms with a $500 rental/cleaning fee.
All packages are subject to 8% NYS tax and 20% gratuity.

We want your event to look great — and stay easy to clean up.
No confetti or glitter (including balloons).
Use Command Strips or painter’s tape only — no nails or permanent adhesives.
Our staff is happy to help hang decorations. Please don’t climb on furniture or ladders.
Tables of 8 are typically set for parties.
All buffets are lined with linen.
You’re welcome to bring your own desserts, but no other outside food or beverages.

Every private room includes basic audio/visual access for your event.
Music can be played in all rooms via Apple device or headphone jack.
Video capability available via HDMI connection.
Microphone available (Chamberlain/Flynn rooms).
We’re open to entertainment or unique ideas — just ask!

Our staff handles cleanup — just remove personal items and decorations before you leave.

Yes! You can arrive up to one hour before your event to decorate. Please use Command Strips or painter’s tape—no nails, confetti, or glitter (including in balloons). Our staff can help hang decorations if needed.

You’re welcome to bring your own desserts. Outside food and beverages are otherwise not permitted.

Room rentals include tables set with linens, video capability (HDMI connection), sound for music via Apple or headphone jack, and a microphone upon request.

One room requires a 25-person food minimum plus a $250 rental/cleaning fee.
Two rooms require a 50-person food minimum plus a $500 rental/cleaning fee.

Yes. Menu substitutions and ala carte additions are available by request. Slider upgrades are an additional $24.

You can choose from an open bar ($50/person for 4 hours), a consumption bar (billed per drink), or a set dollar limit that converts to a cash bar once reached. Specialty cocktails and champagne or Irish coffee add-ons are available.

We’re open to creative ideas—just ask! We’re happy to discuss entertainment or unique event features.

Children are welcome, but we ask that they leave once your event has ended.

No, all of our events are pub-centric. We do not host any events of school aged people.

We do after parties every weekend all year.
There are no formal reservations - you just invite your guests to go to Ryan's Wake - we can accommodate 500+ ppl at that time of night!
We close at 12:30 am.
No underage admitted.
No overly intoxicated guests admitted.
Cash bar only (no food).
No outside alcohol is permitted.
Basically just come celebrate!

An assortment of cookies, brownies, and cupcakes from Bella Napoli with a coffee station is available for $7 per person plus tax and gratuity.
